Sitting in an empty room, I get flooded by those innumerable memories of engineering life. I walk past those memory lanes - How I got into the college and how the college life ended - tons and tons of memories. Four years gone in a flash.Well I am a Computer Engineer from Pune University, oops!! Savitribai Phule Pune University!!
The enthusiasm and excitement of getting into an Engineering college consumes you totally. New environment, new atmosphere and the fear of unknown. People say its just a walk in the park, yes!! JURASSIC PARK..!!
First year - The year of FIRSTs, first assignment, first exam, first friend - the person who will be your soulmate for four years, first crush,first girlfriend,first bunk, first backlog,first college event and the list continues.. Gradually you get to know the true colours of Engineering.
With all those assignments, unit tests, write-ups and exams you discover the superhuman power to withstand any kind of bullshit. Life gets harder, but still you carry on.
Second year - Juniors now!! Things are at whole new different level, you have a bigger friend circle and you slowly unravel the dynamics of surviving engineering (THE ONLINE PATTERN). Programming enters your life and the chaos follows. You have no idea why your program isn't running and you have no idea of why and how it is running. Oh the perplexity!!

| Sums up second year. |
Third year - Challenging the society at every step and breaking the rules,you are a rebel now. As soon as you discover the key to happiness(ONLINE PATTERN), SSPU changes the exam pattern. Everything goes haywire as 30-70 pattern enters your life. TOC and DSPA giving you the worst nightmare of your life. Passing the semester becomes the sole motive in life!!

| When passing the semester is all you want. |
In such tough times, College event/festival comes as a respite and gives a glimmer of hope. Its fun and frolic all around. Its the time where LEADERS are born. All of a sudden the crowd swells up and the college looks more lively than ever. You want these times to last forever. Alas, your dream ends and reality welcomes you.
Somehow you manage to clear and reach the ultimate stage - Final Year!!

| Your reaction when someone asks you,will you be able to clear DSPA? |
Final Year - So near yet so far, most important year of all. Pressure of placements ,the final chance of scoring big in the exam,project,events,workshops and what not!! The year of LASTs - last practical,last oral,last exam,last college event,last bunk,the list goes on. It is a mixed feeling, happiness of breaking free from the clutches of engineering at the same time heart sinks as you bid good bye to the college, friends and what you take back are tons of memories.

It is the stage where a more mature and wise version of yourself takes control of life, and takes a plunge into the world unconquered!!!
Yeah.. Well here I am after the end of college, planning for the future and already missing the college.!!
If Engineering would have been a girl, i would have surely dedicated this to her:
You took me in your arms
And whisked me away
To places where I want to be
Alas, despite our adventures
I can never truly know where I've been
I was but a careless tourist.
With this I sign off and remember be proud of yourself - Because you are an ENGINEER !!
